Gece Faslı

Inspired by loft ateliers of 50s New York, Tuhafier offers a multidisciplinary space allowing different artistic approaches working together. With its unique architectural style Tuhafier not only combines different functionalities such as a photography studio and an exhibition and performance area but it also expands the creative processes inspired by its unique design. Located in Istanbul’s distinctive district Levent, famous for working class, Tuhafier reflects the true rhythm of the city: a collage of lifestyles. 

fünfter Löffel made Gece Faslı on February 2020 in Tuhafier. The event is named after the poem Gece Faslı by Turkish poet Edip Cansever. The artists exhibited in Gece Faslı:

Termoslu

fünfter Löffel made Termoslu Film Akşamı on December 2019 in kargart. Its name comes from the sustainable way of drinking instead of using single-use plastic cups. 

 

Kargart is the performance and exhibition space of the iconic bar Karga in Istanbul. Karga not only represents the underground art scene of Istanbul but also defines and reflects the district Kadiköy, which is one of the central spots for arts and entertainment in Istanbul. From the 90s till today Karga protects the different cultural and intellectual generations of Kadiköy with 

its unique architectural design.

The event featured twelve short film filmmakers and three emerging Turkish photography artists. The artists exhibited in Termoslu Film Akşamı:
